Hi Tom, Thanks for the Taming E-mail class. Today I reached zero; this is without precedent. Early in the day, I kept thinking something was wrong with my gmail account because there was so much white space. Now I experience my in-box like a Zen garden. Thank you!
It was awesome! My inbox thanks me.
Fantastic! Learned so many new tools. Presenter was engaging. Interactive format is invaluable!!
It WAS game changing! I now have a workable email system. I learned how to transfer my inbox to my task list.
It was nice to have a workshop that will be useful not just for school and will ultimately make me more efficient.
It was AWESOME to get control of my inbox. I felt like I accomplished a lot.
It was great to spend a chunk of time learning how to use the tools, and a long chunk to do the work with an experienced educator to guide us as needed.
Loved that we had time to actually sort through our inbox and utilize some of the strategies Tom talked about.

Tom Millett's session was excellent. I have not read anything on restorative practice before today, but I'm hooked.
I loved Tom's restorative conversations PD workshop -- this should be a full PD course for credit. I would absolutely love taking this to continue to develop helpful conversational moves with students exhibiting challenging behaviors.
I found the session with Tom to be very informative and gave concrete strategies for having restorative conversations.
Tom's presentation on Restorative Practices was HIGHLY valuable. There was concrete information and role-playing that I can see myself using both in the classroom and at home with my own children.
It is useful to have the step -by-step framework Tom presented.
Tom is AMAZING. He showcased such an amazing way to go about restorative practices. I am so glad I chose this PD because this was an excellent choice for a newer teacher to learn some valuable skills.
I thought Tom did a great job at facilitating this session, he made me feel validated and challenged us to try conversations outside of our comfort zone
I hate role playing, but Tom was able to make it helpful.

Tom’s ability to first assimilate a complex vision and then break it down into manageable, actionable tasks allows him to advance projects that yield results. While this is one of his many invaluable skills, I believe his true gift is in his ability to juggle innovative new ideas and concepts while still focusing on nuanced details and the bottom line. This talent often positively changes the direction of a project or vision, allowing it to accomplish more than what was originally intended. For these reasons, I have deeply benefited from working closely with Tom.

Jeannetta's approach to DEI is so refreshing and effective. She has the uncanny ability to break down the communication barriers that so often stifle DEI initiatives. She takes topics that are difficult, divisive, and awkward and pushes people to reconsider their presuppositions and challenge their inherit biases. And she does so in a way that is welcoming and encouraging--and responsive to the real-world realities that I and others often ignore or brush off. On multiple occasions, I've witnessed Jeannetta truly living out the "call-in" approach to sparking and engaging in productive and authentic DEI discourse. Her professionalism, honesty, and openness can help individuals and institutions unlock the gates that bar them from making real progress on tough issues. I can't recommend Jeannetta highly enough!

Tom’s experience as a dean of students and educator is both wide and deep. He makes a great partner for collaboration on larger, school-wide systems and smaller interventions or supports for specific students. I’ve leaned on his expertise for school event planning as well as building a strong school and classroom culture, and each time came out a stronger educator than before.
