Tom Millett, M.Ed. (Founder)

Education:
- B.S. in Political Science, Boston University
- M.A. in Educational Leadership and Policy, Boston University

Experience: Tom has been in education for well over a decade. He began his teaching career in Memphis, Tennessee as part of Teach for America. In 2013, he moved back home to Boston to be the Dean of Students at a high performing Boston Charter School. During his tenure, the school has moved away from an outdated “No Excuses” model to establish a more inclusive and accountable model. Tom is currently a school leader in a public Massachusetts high school and consults with schools on discipline, culture, SEL, and staff professional development.

Jeannetta Montissol, LMHC

Education:
- B.A. in Psychology, Curry College
- MA in Mental Health Counseling, Boston College

Experience: Jeannetta has been working in the school system as a counselor for many years. She works closely with administration to promote anti-racist, equitable, and inclusive protocols within the systems. Jeannetta has experienced working within a wide range of age groups, social-emotional skills, and demographics. Under Jeannetta’s leadership, her school has become trauma informed and inclusive environment.

Specialty: Anti-Racist Professional Development, Trauma-Informed School Practices. Counseling, Counselor Management, Services for Students, Student Support Team Management, Development of Local Mental Health Connections for Students and Families

Kate Dormeus

Education:
- B.S. in Psychology, Howard University
- M.S. in Special Educational, Long Island University

Experience: Kate has been in education for 11 years. She spent five years teaching in a sub-separate setting in Brooklyn, New York before returning to Boston in 2014 to be the Dean of Students at a high performing Boston Charter School. Kate is currently a school leader in Boston.

Specialty: School Culture and Systems, Teacher Coaching, Non-Suspension Alternative Consequences, Diversity and Equity Training, Vision and Planning, and Curriculum Design.
